09/26 Organelle trail

I learned that Mitochondria helps the cell survive because the Mitochondria feeds the cell.And that the Mitochondria is located in all cells except the prokaryotes.I think I improved in knowing more about cells.I also improved in how to discribe and naming cells.

09/19 The Cell

I didn't know much about cells before we started the cells category.But I did learn that everything that has cells is alive, for example a wooden table its wood comes from a tree and the tree has small cells from the animals.That is what I learned in the cells category.

I learned that a variable is something that changes a experiment. I am confident that i will get a good grade. And confused about minipules.

Letter to the School Board.

Science classes should not disappear.

Science crosses all subjects because,we use it in math,social studies,language arts,technology,and life.Science teaches us to be a star in our own life and in our studies.It helps us move in life it helps us make decisions when we need to.

Science gives us technology skills.It created computers laptops,tablets iphones,ipads, and usb drives,etc.It makes life easier by using technology.In school we would not of had technology if it weren't for science we would not have this technology.                                                                                                          

Science is everywhere  and science is when we move dance and when we walk.Science is important to us if there weren't any science classes we students would be clueless .Some of us want cant afford computers or don't have internet access at home.

the school board says science is mumbo jumbo.And we have to look on the internet but we need teachers to teach us different ways to do science.they say we have to memorize facts.

Science is not mumbo jumbo its learning!! we need science or we don't have a education of science for those that want to be scientist.we need science classes.And  that's that.

In conclusion I think we should keep science classes to discover more in life not just facts.
