Forces - 1/28/18

A force is a sudden push or pull that results from another object. We measure forces in Newtons, 1 Newton = 1 kg • m/s2.Balance forces are two forces in opposite directions of an object, they are equal in size.A unbalanced for is when its not equal in direction and size.A net force is created when you combine two forces

S&EP Analyzing & Interpreting Data: In class we did an experiment which involved us using Hot Wheels and some Tracks, this experiment helped us see the different types of changes in velocity and acceleration. We would time the car as it went down the ramp that my team created, then we would calculate the velocity , speed , and acceleration.

Physics - 1/21/18

Motion is physics. You decide if something is moving by using a reference point. If something is moving, then the distance between its reference point and itself is different than it was before. Acceleration is a change in velocity over a certain time period.A car is accelerating if its constant speed is 65 km/h because it’s direction could change.

Acceleration is a change in velocity over a certain time period.A car is accelerating if its constant speed is 65 km/h because it’s direction could change.Acceleration is a vector quantity so at anytime the velocity or object’s direction could change. An acceleration graph shows you how quick a certain object moves and the distance its traveled.
