Acceleration is a change in velocity over a certain time period.A car is accelerating if its constant speed is 65 km/h because it’s direction could change.Acceleration is a vector quantity so at anytime the velocity or object’s direction could change.An acceleration graph shows you how quick a certain object moves and the distance its traveled.

S&EP Analyzing & Interpreting Data

In class we did an experiment which involved us using Hot Wheels and some Tracks, this experiment helped us see the different types of changes in velocity and acceleration. We would time the car as it went down the ramp that my team created, then we would calculate the velocity , speed , and acceleration.
