Surprise:I was surprised when the MSG salt looked like the epsom and the mystery salt. Because they both made a drinking sound and were both looked kind of the same.

SummaryWe did a experiment and we tried to find out which  type of household crystal is the mystery. There was Epsom salt, sugar, salt,and MSG salt.We think it is Epsom salt or MSG salt.










Backward-Looking: When we started i knew that just by looking at the crystals it may be Epsom salt. Because they looked the same.
Inward-Looking: I felt proud of my work because i felt that I put a lot of effort in the experiments. I did not mess up or anything to do anything wrong so I was proud of my work.
Forward-Looking:What's one goal you would like to set for yourself for next week? 

 Outward-Looking: I would say very organized,clean(sort of),fun. And just a tad bit of from the  actual instructions just a tad bit.

Surprise:

I thought that the M&M in hot water was going to melt not the ones in cold water nor room temperature .Then we tested it and the hot water melted faster.Second came room temperature then cold. 

Summary: We were testing M&M's some in cold water,hot water, and one in room temperature.And were doing experiments throughout the week.

Backward-Looking: I did not know a lot but I knew that the M&M in hot water would win.Because the hot water would  melt the sugar in the M&M quickly.

Inward-Looking: I felt really happy about my work.Because it was fun and very cool to do and just a little easy.But when we did a one experiment we messed it up.

Outward-Looking: Yes my group was doing exactly what the other groups were doing. Except when we did the no sugar,1 tsp sugar and 3 tsp sugar. But we ruined it.

Forward-Looking: 

I would like to look at the directions so when it is almost time to go I will know what to do instead of rushing and doing the wrong thing.But I know I can learn from my mistakes.

Weekly Blog 01/09

Surprise
I thought that the blue M&M was going to dissolve faster but instead the yellow dissolved faster because blue was sort of a calm color but yellow won.

This week we learned about matter and if M&M colors matter when you put a M&M in water.
   A  M&M is a object we used for racing our M&Ms and yellow won.The way we raced the M&Ms were we dropped them in at the same time and then watched to see our results.

 I have not done any experiments or anything that we did this week.But I have done little experiments in my house but I forgot because it was when I was little.

What was satisfying about my work was that i know this is weird but what I was satisfied about was my mistakes because it sort of taught me to learn from my mistakes.

I want people to see my work as a example for when they do something because I feel that I did it correctly,and that I put lots of time into my work.

I would like to improve in my way I express my answers because I want people to know what I am saying.
